Young Living just launched a whole new skincare lineup, and if you looked at all the new products and thought...
“Okay...but what does all of this DO, and which one would I actually use?” 😂

So I did what I always do when something new launches—I started digging into the ingredients, what makes each product different, who they're designed for, and how everything fits together.
And there is actually a LOT more to this new skincare than pretty packaging! 👀
The biggest thing I want you to know before we get into the individual products:
You do NOT need everything.
Your skin is different from mine, and what it needs can change with the season, age, hormones, how dry or oily you're feeling...and apparently sometimes just because it's Tuesday. 😂
The goal isn't to create some crazy 12-step skincare routine.
It's to understand what each product does so you can choose what makes sense for YOUR skin.

🌿 Pore Cleansing Gel

If you're someone who tends to have oily or combination skin, this is the cleanser I'd look at first.
The Pore Cleansing Gel is designed to give you that deeper-clean feeling without stripping away all the moisture your skin actually needs.
It helps:
✨ Deep cleanse pores
✨ Lift away impurities
✨ Reduce excess oil and the appearance of clogged pores
✨ Soothe the look of redness
✨ Support the skin's moisture barrier
And this is where the ingredients get interesting.

You'll find niacinamide and plant-powered cleansing agents, along with Vitamin B5, aloe, green tea, betaine and chlorella.
Plus, it contains Lavender, Rosemary and Lemon essential oils.

What I really like here is the idea of getting skin CLEAN without going after it so aggressively that you leave it feeling tight and dry.

Best fit: Oily or combination skin.




✨ Antioxidant Foaming Cleanser

Now, if your skin tends to be more normal to dry, this is the cleanser I'd look at.
The Antioxidant Foaming Cleanser gives you that rich, airy lather that removes debris, excess oil and makeup—but it's formulated to do it without stripping away moisture.
It helps:
✨ Support your skin's moisture barrier
✨ Leave skin feeling clean and soft
✨ Brighten the look of dull skin
✨ Promote a more radiant, refreshed appearance
A few ingredients caught my attention here:
Niacinamide + lipids help support the moisture barrier.
Hyaluronic acid helps attract and retain moisture.
And antioxidant botanicals help brighten the appearance of dull skin.

You'll also find Lavender, German Chamomile, Patchouli, Rosemary and Lemon essential oils.
So while both cleansers CLEAN, they're not exactly doing the same job.

🌿 Oily/Combination → Pore Cleansing Gel
💧 Normal/Dry → Antioxidant Foaming Cleanser
That little distinction makes choosing between them much easier!



✨ Exfoliating Toner

This might be one of the products people misunderstand the most.
When I hear “exfoliating,” my brain immediately thinks scrub. 😂
But that's NOT what we're talking about here.
Instead of physically scrubbing away dead skin, this toner uses a multi-AHA blend and caviar lime extract for gentle exfoliation.
It also contains:
✨ Sea water minerals to hydrate and support the moisture barrier
✨ Grape seed extract + bioferment actives
✨ Willow bark extract, a plant-powered source of salicylic acid
✨ Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood, Frankincense, Coriander, Myrrh, Lavender, Bergamot, Rosemary, Ylang Ylang and Geranium essential oils
The goal is smoother, brighter-looking skin without harsh abrasives or acid peels.
And here's something important:
This is the toner used in BOTH of the three-step skincare routines.
So whether you're choosing the Fresh & Clear products or the Anti-Aging products, this is your middle step.
CLEANSE → TONE → MOISTURIZE
Easy enough!



💧 Light Moisturizer
This one is for the person who says:
“Yes, I know I need moisturizer. No, I don't want my face to FEEL like I'm wearing moisturizer.” 😂
The Light Moisturizer is designed to give you weightless, breathable, all-day moisture without that heavy or greasy feeling.
It contains:
✨ Humectants + lightweight emollients
✨ Multiple weights of hyaluronic acid for layered hydration
✨ Aloe + Damask rose extract
✨ Olive squalane, glycerin, apple fruit extract + murumuru butter
Together, they help attract moisture, lock it in and support smoother-looking skin.
And yes—there are essential oils here too, including Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood, Frankincense, Coriander, Myrrh, Lavender, Bergamot, Rosemary, Ylang Ylang and Geranium.
This can be worn alone if you have oily-to-combination skin, or even layered under a richer cream if your skin needs more moisture.





💕 Anti-Aging Intensive Moisturizer

Now we're moving into the richer moisturizer.
If your skin tends to be dry, mature, or just wants MORE moisture, this is where I'd look.
The Anti-Aging Intensive Moisturizer contains skin-identical ceramides and essential fatty acids to support the skin's moisture barrier.
You'll also find:
✨ Seaweed + hyaluronic acid for smoother, more radiant-looking skin
✨ Wolfberry + amino acids to help reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles
✨ Rosemary extracts + Vitamin E for antioxidants
And this is also where we see DeepSpectra Frankincense, along with Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood, Rosemary, Ylang Ylang and Rose essential oils.
This is definitely the richer of the two moisturizers.
So once again, choosing doesn't have to be complicated:

💧 Want richer hydration? → Anti-Aging Intensive Moisturizer






✨ A Little Extra: Targeted Treatments
Your basic skincare routine really can be as simple as:
CLEANSE → TONE → MOISTURIZE
But maybe there are a few other things you'd specifically like to address.
Fine lines? Firmness? Dark circles? Puffiness?
That's where the targeted products come in.

Collagen Peptide Serum

This isn't brand new, but I think it's one of those products a lot of us don't completely understand.It combines ingredients including sea fennel extract, vegan collagen amino acids + peptides and DeepSpectra boswellic acids to support smoother, firmer-looking skin and help reduce the appearance of fine lines.
